Itinerary

Arrive in Colombo and travel to Kitulgala, a town known for its adventure activities. Kick off your adventure with an exciting session of white-water rafting on the Kelani River, navigating through thrilling rapids. The hike begins in the early hours of the night so that you can reach the top for a stunning sunrise view. At the summit, you’ll also find a sacred footprint shrine, making this an important religious site. After witnessing the incredible views, rest overnight near the trailhead to recover from the hike.

travel to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as Little England for its cool climate and colonial charm. Enjoy a relaxing time by Gregory Lake, taking in the serene atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit a tea plantation, where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s famous tea-making process and enjoy a tour of the factory. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

This day starts with a hike through Horton Plains National Park, leading to World’s End, a stunning cliff with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Afterward, stop by Baker’s Falls for some more beautiful natural scenery. In the afternoon, take a scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, passing through mist-covered mountains and lush tea plantations. Overnight in Ella.

Start the day with a hike to Ella Rock, a moderately challenging trek offering sweeping views of the valley and tea plantations. Afterward, visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, a historic railway bridge nestled among the hills, perfect for capturing some stunning photos.
